The Vincennes Central Business District is working on making Vincennes an active member of the Indiana Main Street program.

The VCBD mission is?

THE VINCENNES CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT IS DEDICATED TO ENRICHING OUR CITY'S LIVABILITY BY PROMOTING OUR DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES, BEAUTIFYING OUR STREETS, CULTURALLY ENRICHING OUR COMMUNITY AND ANIMATING OUR PUBLIC SPACES.

One way of doing this is to bring awareness to the businesses by way of promoting the history of the buildings.
